What began as Edmonton's first Volkswagen dealership became a name generations of local drivers would come to know. From Beetles and Buses to Golfs, GTIs, Tiguans and Atlases, we've had a front-row seat to more than six decades of Volkswagen history.
This is our story.
Long before SUVs filled Edmonton roads, Norden was introducing the city to a very different kind of car. Here's how Edmonton's first Volkswagen dealership grew alongside the city it calls home.

Norden became Edmonton's first Volkswagen dealership, introducing local drivers to a brand unlike just about anything else on the road.
The Beetle was simple, unconventional and impossible to mistake for anything else. Edmonton took notice.
For generations of Edmonton drivers, the Norden name became closely tied to Volkswagen.
Beetles gave way to Rabbits and Golfs. The GTI arrived and turned the practical hatchback into an icon.
The cars evolved. So did Norden.
Edmonton changed dramatically over the decades, and Norden grew along with it.
New Volkswagen models arrived. New generations of customers came through the doors. Families that grew up with Volkswagen returned for Volkswagens of their own.
Today, Norden Volkswagen looks a little different from the dealership Edmonton first knew.
The Beetle made room for the Atlas. The Golf became an icon. The GTI became a legend. And Volkswagen keeps evolving.
More than 60 years later, we're still here for it.
